CIS Summer Program in Australia: The summer program in Western Australia is based at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. This is a five week course running from mid June to mid July. This course is ideal for students looking to experience Australia at it's best.

Study Abroad: Two Study Abroad programs are available on both the Cairns and Townsville campuses of JCU. The programs are flexible, allowing students to select classes from up to four academic areas (class timetables permitting). Presently, fewer classes are taught on the Cairns campus, relative to Townsville but the number is increasing each semester.
Curriculum Highlights: Students may choose classes from up to 4 different academic disciplines. Individual classes have credit values of 3 or 4 units each. Whilst a normal full semester load at JCU is 12 units of credit (4 x 3 unit classes or 3 x 4 unit classes), the Study Abroad program enables students to enrol in a combination of up to 4 classes or 15 units of credit (whichever comes first), in any semester.
Setting Description: Located in a bushland setting in Townsville and surrounded by World Heritage-listed rainforest in Cairns, these two relaxed campuses offer a quality education at Australia's leading tropical university. Close to the Coral Sea and by the Great Barrier Reef, the options for field trips and sports and activities are unrivalled.
Program Value: The low cost of living in Australia compared to other western countries, particularly in North Queensland, make this an excellent place to gain a quality education while maintaining a good lifestyle. Setting Description: The program commences in Sydney. Then students will journey to the "red centre" town of Alice Springs and Uluru National Park.
