  Lesson #1
Assignment
You know that you want to study abroad, but you haven't been able to convince your parents that a semester abroad in High School will benefit your educational career. In order to convince them that you don't have to wait until college to study abroad, you decide that you will create a program fact sheet to win them over. Assuredly, taking the time to research and outline program highlights, dates, costs, and most of all, the benefits of this journey abroad, will successfully woo your parents.

Objective
On StudyAbroad.com, find a High School study abroad program that interests you. Research this study abroad program and create a program fact sheet.

Fact Sheet Items
Be sure to address the following:

Where do I want to study abroad? Why?
When do I want to study abroad?
How will I get there? Is airfare included?
Where will I stay while on this study abroad program?
Is a meal plan included, or will I be responsible for my own meals?
Is there a foreign language requirement? Will I learn one there?
Will I receive credits (high school or college) for this program?
What do I expect to gain from this program that will benefit my future?
